Seasonal festivities

Seasonal Adventures

Look, we don't just slap some decorations up and call it a day. Each season here transforms the whole place into something you've gotta see to believe.

Spring brings our Dragonling Festival - think fire-breathers, falconry demos, and a market that'd make any medieval fair jealous. Summer's all about the Tournament of Champions where guests actually participate in archery contests and mock jousts (yeah, we've got foam swords and real instructors).

When fall rolls around, we go full Harvest Moon Revelry with torchlit garden walks, storytelling circles around actual bonfires, and mead tastings that'll warm you right up. Winter's the Frozen Kingdom experience - ice sculptures in the courtyard, mulled wine by the great hall fireplace, and honestly the coziest vibes you'll ever feel.

Every season's got its own flavor, and we're pretty obsessed with getting the details just right.

Quest Packages

Choose your adventure - these aren't your typical hotel packages

Knight's Honor Quest

The Knight's Honor

Three days of living like actual nobility. You'll get sword-fighting lessons from our master-at-arms (he's competed nationally, no joke), a private suit of display armor for your room, priority seating at the banquet hall, and a personalized coat of arms designed just for you. Plus horseback riding through the nearby trails if weather permits.

From $1,299 per couple

Sorcerer's Retreat

The Sorcerer's Retreat

Perfect for folks who want maximum chill with a mystical twist. You're getting our full spa ritual experience (more on that below), a tower suite with the best views in the place, private tarot readings, and access to our candlelit meditation chamber. We've also got a partnership with a local herbalist who does workshops on medieval healing practices.

From $1,499 per person

Royal Romance Quest

The Royal Romance

Honestly our most popular anniversary package. You'll stay in the Grand Throne Chamber, enjoy a private candlelit feast with a dedicated serving wench (yes, that's the actual title), couples massage in our spa sanctuary, and a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Vancouver. We'll also arrange for a musician to serenade you at dinner if that's your thing.

From $2,199 per couple

The Dragon Slayer Challenge

This one's for the adrenaline folks. Two-day adventure package with rock climbing at our partner facility, escape room challenges themed around rescuing kingdoms, axe-throwing competitions, and a finale feast where you're literally crowned as champion. We keep a leaderboard in the hall.

From $899 per person

The Bard's Journey

For creative souls who wanna try something different. You'll attend medieval music workshops, learn calligraphy, participate in storytelling nights, and get a private tour of Vancouver's historic sites with our resident historian. Leave with skills you didn't know you wanted.

From $749 per person

Potions & Elixirs Spa Sanctuary

We took the whole spa thing and gave it a medieval makeover

The Phoenix Rising Ritual

This is basically our signature treatment and honestly it's wild. Starts with a full-body exfoliation using volcanic ash scrub, then you're wrapped in heated herbal linens infused with dragon's blood resin (it's a real plant extract, smells amazing). Finish with a hot stone massage using actual river stones. Takes about two hours and you'll feel like you've been reborn.

$245 | 120 minutes

Moonwell Meditation Soak

Private soaking tub session in our candlelit grotto (yeah, we actually carved out a grotto space). The water's infused with lavender, chamomile, and other herbs we source from local farms. You get the room for a full hour, plus a glass of our house-made elderflower elixir. Bring your partner or keep it solo - totally your call.

$175 | 60 minutes

Warrior's Recovery

Deep tissue massage that doesn't mess around. Our therapists trained specifically in sports recovery techniques, but we've themed it around battlefield healing (minus any actual battles, obviously). Uses arnica and warming balms. Great for after those quest packages or if you just carry all your stress in your shoulders like most of us.

$195 | 90 minutes

Crystal Crown Facial

Look, I was skeptical about the crystal stuff too, but this facial's legit. Jade rollers, rose quartz tools, and a gold-flecked mask that makes you look ridiculous for about 15 minutes but leaves your skin glowing. Includes shoulder and scalp massage too. Our aesthetician's got like a decade of experience and really knows her stuff.

$165 | 75 minutes

The Grand Alchemist Package

Can't pick just one? Get the Phoenix Rising, Moonwell Soak, and Crystal Crown Facial in a single day of pure indulgence. We'll throw in lunch from our banquet hall and unlimited access to our sauna and steam chambers.

$525 (Save $60)

The Great Hall Feasts

Forget everything you think you know about hotel restaurants

Medieval feast

The Legendary Banquet Experience

Every Friday and Saturday night, we host a full medieval banquet that's honestly become kind of famous around Vancouver. You're seated at long communal tables (don't worry, everyone's friendly), and the meal's served in courses while entertainers do their thing - jugglers, musicians, the occasional fire-eater.

The menu changes seasonally but expect things like roasted meats carved tableside, hearty stews, fresh bread you can smell from three rooms away, and desserts that lean heavy on honey and spices. Our chef trained in London but grew up here, so he's got this perfect blend of authentic medieval inspiration and modern culinary technique.

$89 per person | Reservations required

The Dragon's Breath Brunch

Sunday mornings from 10-2. It's a buffet but make it medieval - think meat pies, smoked salmon, aged cheeses, pastries that'd make a French bakery jealous, and our famous spiced hot chocolate. Kid-friendly and honestly a great way to ease into the day after Saturday night.

$45 adults | $22 kids under 12

Private Throne Room Dining

Wanna feel like actual royalty? Book our private dining room for up to 8 people. You get a dedicated server, custom menu planning with our chef, and the room's decorated like you're dining in a king's personal chambers. Perfect for proposals, anniversaries, or just because.

Starts at $600 for the experience

The Tavern Menu

Available daily in our more casual pub area. Elevated pub grub with medieval names - the "Huntsman's Burger" is ridiculous (in a good way), and the "Wench's Stew" changes daily but it's always comforting. Full bar with craft beers and mead selections you won't find anywhere else.

Entrees from $18-$32

Tales from Fellow Travelers

Real stories from folks who've stayed with us

"We did the Royal Romance package for our 10th anniversary and honestly it was better than our actual honeymoon. The private feast was incredible - they even learned our song and had the musician play it. My wife cried happy tears like three times. Worth every penny."

- Marcus & Jennifer, Seattle

"I'm usually not into themed stuff but my sister insisted. The Dragon Slayer Challenge was actually super fun and the axe throwing was way harder than it looks. Made friends with another couple doing the same package and we still keep in touch. Would definitely come back."

- David L., Toronto

"The Phoenix Rising spa ritual changed my life. I'm not even exaggerating. I've had massages all over the world and this was something else entirely. The therapist found knots I didn't know I had. Booked another visit before we even checked out."

- Sarah M., Vancouver

"Brought our D&D group here for a weekend and it was perfect. The Bard's Journey package was right up our alley. We spent hours in the board game library and the staff actually joined our campaign one night. They really get their audience here."

- The Crimson Company, Portland

"The Friday night banquet exceeded all expectations. The food was restaurant quality, the entertainment was engaging without being cheesy, and we loved the communal seating - met some really cool people. Already planning our next trip back."

- Rachel & Tom, Calgary
